Introducing Headless Mode Agent Skill: OpenClaw Memory Integration (Beta)
We’re introducing headless mode support in ByteRover to extend how the existing ByteRover Agent Skill for OpenClaw (previously Moltbot/ Clawdbot) runs in production and automation-first workflows.
With headless mode, ByteRover no longer requires an interactive CLI. It can now run entirely in the background, making it easier to use as infrastructure for long-running agents like OpenClaw.
What’s new
Headless mode (beta): Run ByteRover without the CLI REPL
OpenClaw agent skill, now headless: OpenClaw can now interact with ByteRover directly via headless mode
Automation-ready: Designed for background and long-running workflows
Why Headless Mode?
The ByteRover Agent Skill already provides OpenClaw persistent project context. However, the interactive CLI model limits how ByteRover can be embedded in automation-first setups.
Headless mode removes that limitation. ByteRover can now:
Start automatically
Run continuously in the background
Serve context to agents without human interaction
Beta Notes
Headless mode is currently in beta.
Please report any issues or unexpected behavior.
