ByteRover 2.0: MCP Tool Integration in Context Composer

Your coding agent can now pull context from wherever you work (Cloudflare, Fireflies, Linear, Notion, and more)

Why MCP tool integration?

We built Context Composer as the ultimate tool for developers to curate and prepare high-quality context for coding agents.

For dev teams, collaboration happens inside tools—where work gets planned, tracked, and shipped. We are building ByteRover to be where agent context lives. Therefore, we believe that to maximize that context, memory needs to be enriched with what’s happening across collaboration.

We’ve added MCP integrations with platforms like Linear, Cloudflare, Fireflies, and Notion—key places where development teams work together. More integrations are on the way, but with the current set, your team can already start experiencing the benefits of richer context for the agent.

How It Works

  1. Open Context Composer

  2. Select Connect to MCP Server

  3. Browse available tools and connect

With MCP integration, Context Composer makes it easier to pull the right context directly from the tools you already use. This ensures your coding agents stay aligned with your team’s ongoing collaboration.
